Action Dog Photography

Because dogs just want to have fun.

Mid-leap, full sprint, chasing a ball or Frisbee, or bounding through the snow. Action photos capture the joy of being a dog. If your dog loves to move, action photos are a natural part of an outdoor pet photography session.

Many of the photos in the gallery below were created on my private property in western Loudoun County, where dogs have plenty of room to run, play, and explore. I also create action photos throughout Northern Virginia, including at your home or your dog’s favorite park.

No worries if your dog needs to stay on leash. Many of the dogs you see here were photographed on leash, which I routinely remove during editing.
