Outdoor Dog Photography
Portraits that show who your dog really is.
I specialize in outdoor dog photography that captures what your dog means to you — whether they’re soulful, sweet, silly, or all of the above.
Most sessions take place on my private 7-acre property in western Loudoun County, a distraction-free space designed specifically for pet photography. I also shoot at locations that are meaningful to you, like your home or a favorite park.
Whether your dog is energetic, shy, or somewhere in between, my goal is to create portraits that look natural and feel like them.
Your dog doesn’t need to be perfectly trained or able to be off leash. Many of the dogs you see in my portfolio were photographed on leash, which I routinely remove during editing. And if you have a black or dark-colored dog, I know how to light them so you see the details in their eyes and their fur.
Outdoor dog portraits are just one part of my Signature Session. We also can create photos of your dog in action and portraits with you and other family members. Learn more about my Signature Session.
Your dog doesn’t need to be perfectly trained or light-colored to get amazing photos you’ll love.
Many people worry their dog won’t cooperate, especially if they’re not well trained or can’t be off leash. Others worry their dog’s black or dark coat won’t photograph well. I’ve been photographing dogs professionally since 2009 and have worked with hundreds of dogs of all temperaments and fur colors.
