Session Information
Preparing for Your Photo Shoot
Bathe and brush your pet, and trim his nails, as close to the session as possible. If you cut your pet’s hair, do that about a week before the session so that it looks more natural.
If you have high-energy dogs, walk them about 30 minutes or an hour before the session so that they are more relaxed.
Pets who have eaten tend to be more relaxed than those who are hungry. However, if your dog is very food motivated, it is best if she comes to the session slightly hungry as she is more likely to respond to treats if we need to use them to get her attention.
If your dog is toy motivated, bring his favorite toy(s) and any props or accessories you might like to include in the photos, such as a favorite collar.
If you are planning to be in the photographs, I will go over clothing recommendations and other suggestions to help you look your best.
