Honored as a 2015 Silver Medalist in PPA’s International Print Competition

Professional Photographers of America | Silver Medal Photographer of the Year

I’m thrilled to share that I earned a Silver Medal in Professional Photographers of America’s 2015 International Print Competition!

Each year, this prestigious competition attracts thousands of entries, and 2015 was no different. Photographers submitted nearly 5,200 images for consideration. A panel of 43 jurors from across the country evaluated each one using PPA’s high standard of excellence. In the end, the judges selected just over 2,100 images for the General Collection. From those, they chose only 1,085 for the highly coveted Loan Collection—PPA’s top honor.

To qualify for a medal, photographers must have all four of their submitted images accepted into the General Collection. The medal level—Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, or Diamond—depends on how many of those images also make it into the Loan Collection.

In 2015, I was honored to be one of just 115 photographers to receive a Silver Medal. One of my four images also earned a spot in the Loan Collection, placing me in the top 10% of all entrants. I’m incredibly proud to have my work recognized at this level.

If you’re attending Imaging USA, you’ll be able to see all four of my images on display January 10–12, 2016, at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta.
