They Call Dogs “Man’s Best Friend” for a Reason

I photographed Denali, an Entlebucher Sennehund, otherwise known as the much easier to pronounce miniature Swiss Mountain Dog, with his dad at Morven Park in Leesburg, VA. Not only is Denali incredibly well trained, but he absolutely adores his dad, only taking his eyes off him when he was chasing a ball. Which he then promptly returned to his dad so that he could retrieve it again. When they played a game of chase, Denali tracked Tommy until he smoked past him. Four legs pretty much always beat two. These two truly have an exceptional bond, which I’m glad I was able to witness and capture.
