I love when families with younger children call me to photograph their families and include their dog in all of the photos. It means that their pup is still an important part of the family, a loved and treasured family member! That is certainly the case for Disco (short for Discovery), this playful and joyful Brittany Spaniel. As you can see from the family photos, she is very well loved by everyone! And the kids were great with her! It made my heart happy to photograph all of them!
Disco’s family’s house and yard were a fantastic place for family photos! They have really interesting architectural elements, cool steps at the back of the house (I love the reflection of the trees in the glass doors behind them) and beautiful stone walls. Of course, Fall is such a pretty time of year for photos; it wasn’t quite peak yet, but the leaves were starting to change colors and the woods were really pretty! The stones on the property added interest to the photos, too (farming this land 100 years ago would have been seriously challenging!)
