Meet Finlay, a 10-week-old Westie puppy, and his sister, Mona, a 5-year-old Labrador Retriever. I met their parents at a Paws and Claus fundraiser I did with Woofie’s several years ago. Elizabeth, Mona and Finlay’s mom, told me that they would be adopting a Westie puppy and would call me to photograph their family once they added him. This was the first photo shoot in Finlay’s “Watch Me Grow” plan (for puppies and kittens; it consists of three shoots over the course of a year and documents their growth). His second photo shoot is scheduled for October, and I already have some fun ideas. As his mom said, “How cute is a Westie with some pumpkins.” Extremely cute, I think. And I’m looking forward to picking him up and holding him when he has lost his shark-like puppy teeth! :)
