Favorite Pet Photos from 2015

2015 was a great year professionally (I lost two of my fur babies, so it was challenging personally). I photographed a lot of wonderful pets, from a litter of seven 7-week-old Labrador puppies to a 23-year-old iguana, and everything in between. Some were repeat clients, who had added a new pet (or two-legged child) to their family, while some wanted updated photos of their dogs or cats. Some were new clients but they all have one thing in common: they consider their pets to be family members and wanted to have great photos of them. I partnered with Woofie’s for a Santa Paws fundraiser, where I photographed 111 dogs from over 80 families, raising over $1,600 for Friends of Homeless Animals (FOHA). 2015 was our first year doing it, and we’re hoping to raise even more money when we do it again in 2016. I won a Silver Medal in the Professional Photographers of America International Print Competition, a huge honor. I also was voted “Best Photographer in Loudoun County” by the readers of Leesburg Today.

All in all, a good 2015. Wishing you the best in 2016.
