I photographed Rosie, a Redbone Coonhound, for her one-year birthday.

I photographed Rosie, a Redbone Coonhound, last year shortly after her parents brought her home. One of the photos I took of her last year, peering out the back of my old truck, is one of my favorite all-time photos: she’s all eyes, ears and paws. And is so doggone cute!She’s gotten a lot bigger since last year but still has those incredibly expressive eyes and a great, wrinkled brow. She’s too big too look out this window of the truck now, but I photographed her looking out one of the side windows, as well as several other locations at my outdoor portrait park. Happy birthday, Rosie!
